Alfa Tile Adhesives (A-Series) offer a specialized range of six cementitious powder products, from the essential A-306 for interior flooring, walls to the high-performance A-360 Strong designed for Italian marble. These adhesives are engineered to provide superior bonding and slip resistance without the need for pre-soaking tiles or post-application water curing. Compliant with IS-15477-2019 standards, the series supports a wide variety of materials including ceramic, vitrified, granite and natural stones for both residential and commercial projects.
With a focused approach to research and formulation, these adhesives are designed for ease of application and a long pot life, significantly increasing on-site productivity. They are suitable for both new and old surfaces, including “tile on tile” applications and offer high water resistance and zero shrinkage. Achieving a perfect finish requires the right technique. Follow these step-by-step instructions for our three core product lines to ensure lasting strength and durability.
- Surface Preparation: Clean the surface of all loose particles, dirt, grease and foreign materials using a wire brush, sandpaper, or by chipping.
- Mixing: Mix the adhesive with approximately 25% clean water to obtain a lump-free paste.
- Resting: Allow the mixture to stand for 5–10 minutes.
- Application: Remix the paste and apply it to the floor or wall at a thickness of 3–6 mm using a notch trowel. Cover only 8–10 sq. ft. at a time.
- Setting Tiles: Fix the tiles in place and tap them gently with a wooden hammer. Remove any excess mixture immediately.
- Curing: Leave the tiles to dry for 24 hours before filling joints with Alfa Tile Grout.
