ALFA TILE ADHESIVE A-315 STRONG is a Type-3, white cementitious powder adhesive engineered for both interior and exterior tiling projects. Compliant with IS-15477-2019 standards, this adhesive delivers excellent adhesion and slip resistance while eliminating the need for pre-soaking tiles or post-application water curing.
Areas of Application and Supported Surfaces
A-315 Strong is a highly versatile solution suitable for indoor and outdoor environments, for both floor and wall applications. It is designed to bond securely to new as well as old surfaces, including brick, plastered walls and existing “tile on tile” surfaces. It is specifically formulated to secure tiles, granite and natural stones.

Size Capabilities:
- Flooring : Supports tiles and granite up to 300mm x 2400 mm.
- Wall : When applied to walls supports tiles up to 800 mm x 1600 mm, it is effective and reliable up to a height of 8 to 10 feet.
- Granite : Floor and when applied to Wall is effective and reliable up to a height of 8 to 10 feet
Coverage and Shelf Life:
When applied as a 4 mm thick bed, the A-315 Strong provides a coverage rate of 1.5 to 2.0 square feet per kilogram. It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacturing, provided it is stored under standard conditions.

Based on IS-15477:2019 standardized testing, the A-315 Strong adhesive offers the following performance metrics:
- Water Demand: 27 per 100 grams of the sample.
- Pot Life: 180 minutes, which guarantees excellent workability over an extended period.
- Open Time: 22 to 27 minutes.
- Adjustability: 12-18 minutes.
- Tensile Adhesion/Shear Strength Shear Strength: 1.6 – 1.9 N/mm² under standard conditions.
